Kingdom said Monday, August 30, it was "a miracle" that no one was killed. 35-year old Sean Cuthbert told the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) that he attended the five-day Grapevine Celebration Festival near the city of Lincoln, about 160 kilometers (100 miles) north of London, on Sunday evening when the accident injured more than a dozen people.
Initial reports said three people who were trapped were later freed by rescue workers. Four people were seriously injured in the accident and up to 30 people suffered minor injuries, police and other officials said.
"It was terrifying but I trusted in the Lord, and no-one was killed – most people were able to walk out," Cuthbert told the BBC. The 5,000-capacity tent was said to have been close to full when the incident happened.
An investigation into the cause of the collapse continued Monday, organizers and police said.
"I think the devil is at work in lots of places, so it is important that we do not stop the festival," Cuthbert stressed. "We were waving our arms and jumping around to a Christian rock group called Delirious… then you could feel the seats vibrating.

happened people were very calm and left in an orderly way," added Grapevine Celebration Spokesman Brian Keel. "It was a miracle that no-one was killed."
Police officials said they were impressed with the apparent lack of panic when the grandstand seating collapsed.
"From what I can gather there was no panic and there was an orderly evacuation," Inspector Dick Holmes of Lincolnshire Police told reporters.
"Lots of people who were here have chipped in and helped out until the emergency services arrived. All credit to the organizers who had a contingency plan for something like this. There was no panic, and it looks like it could have been a lot worse," he added.
