Many Eritrean Christians have been held in containers, sources say.
Many Eritrean Christians have been held in containers, sources say.

ASMARA, ERITREA (BosNewsLife)– Three elderly Christian men have been released on bail from a military prison camp and police facility in Eritrea, Christian rights investigators confirmed Friday, March 20.

The physical condition of the three Christians, who are all in their 80s, was not immediately clear, said Netherlands-based Open Doors, a Christian advocacy group investigating reports of persecution.

Open Doors told BosNewsLife that two men, arrested in November, were jailed in Mitire-camp, a military concentration camp in northeastern Eritrea, where many Christians are are believed to be detained.

“There are some 360 prisoners held in Mitire, many of them in underground prisons or shipping containers, without enough food and medical care,” Open Doors said.

A third Christian was released after being held at a police station for some six months, the group said.

Their detention has been linked to Christian activities. Since May 2002 only the Eritrean Orthodox Church, the Roman-Catholic Church and the Lutheran Church are allowed, altough even there some church leaders have complained of alleged harassment by authorities.

“Especially Bible believing Christians who want to actively share their faith with others are arrested,” Open Doors said. “Most of them are members of banned evangelical or Protestant movements.”

Open Doors and other rights groups have suggested that persecution continues with reports that nearly 3,000 Christians have been detained across the country in what they describe as “horrible circumstances.”

Eritrean President Isaias Afewerki and his government have denied authorities are involved in the persecution of Christians.

“These accusations are groundless. They are part of a routine allegation due to a lack of knowledge or done in the interest of smearing this country. So-called human rights groups pick up anything on the internet and give arbitrary figures,” the president’s office said.

  1. This websit never stops spreading rumors. Stop your lies. Eritrea will not allow for imported religion. I support my gov’t to jail them forever. These religions are exported to divide and weaken the strength of our country.
    We have respected indigenous religion.
Bosnews don’t mess in our country affair. Who are you after all, you are a foreigner. Do I believe you that you will have a concern for my country, not for a second. If it is true, I am really mad why my gov’t released these 3 people.

  2. Hello there, don’t post any thing about us( we christians in Eritrea) because we belive that our solution is from above. so if you can please pray for those in prison and for the remaining once.we didn’t see any solution from displaying things here.
    God Bless you more

  3. Nice try Tiegisti, but ofcourse we will continue to report the plight of Christians in Eritrea. Yes they do believe that Christ is with them. But Christians also believe in the power of prayer. And there is nothing wrong in informing Christians (and others) around the world about the situation of thousands of believers in Eritrea. Dehai, these are no rumors, but ofcourse as a government supporter and/or official you are free to disagree.

  4. Mine is not a comment, but a very simple QUESTION to all.
HAW COME OR WHY IS THE WORLD SO MUCH INTERESTED ABOUT ERITREA NOW, BUT NOT WHEN ERITREA WAS IN THE BLOODIEST WAR FOR INDEPENDENCE AGAINST THE BARBARIC ETHIOPIA(backed by the world) ? ?

  5. Thanks Sam Erisydney for your encouraging comments. Merhawi, I believe the world is also interested in the war situation, but this happened to be a news story about Christians.

    Best regards,

    Stefan J. Bos, BosNewsLife

  6. He3llo! what ever your name is ! Why dont you write things that are happening , in Afganistan, in Iraq,Why is Us, so involved in those country. Who gave Us to be the polis. When the world was saying the is no nuclear station why did the US went in.What has the US has accived in Iraq. It has destoyed the civilisation, maimed the towns, factories to the ground. Over two million people died in this war. Over six million people has fled to neiboring countries. Who is responsible for this? US is responsible in Vietnam war, KOrean war, in Yugoslavia war in Ertrean Ethiopian war, in Ruanda jenocide, in Somalia and were not!!! The world knows this. Stefan why dont you write on those events, instead pocking your nose in other affairs. Write sopme thing on the ecconomic collaps in US and other counties. You can get credit on this ! Are you affraid to write in this things ! Are you affraid to get a bullet in your head like the jurnalists in Iraq.?

  7. Dear Ghirmay,

We are also covering for instance the situation of Christians in Iraq or Afghanistan. But this is a new story about Eritrea. We will continue covering news worthy stories, including in Eritrea. I have been in several war zones, including in Iraq and also the former Yugoslavia. Your last sentence: “Are you affraid to get a bullet in your head like the jurnalists in Iraq.?” was hopefully not meant as a threat. However people like you will not stop us publishing the truth.

    Best regards,

    Stefan J. Bos, BosNewsLife

  8. Stefan you need to pray for the “Christians” who killed or are killing innocent Iraqis, Japanese, Koreans, Palestinians, Congolese, Somalis. Of course its too late to pray for the victims, because of the US governments, THEY’RE ALREADY DEAD. That’s the truth you need to publish. To all you internet Christians: God knows everything!

  9. Dear 247 Christian,

I have not heard that Christians are killing Iraqis. Indeed you write it between ” “. I do know that thousands of Christians have fled because of persecution in Iraq. I don’t know what your comment has to do with Eritrea. Indeed “God knows everything”, including about the Christians who are jailed across the African nation.

    Best regards,

  10. I am Eritrean. At this time, i live in USA. When i was in Eritrea, I was deatained and i can witness the chrisitian persecution. This is not a rumor. Christian persecution is for sure happening in eritrea. Thank God that i can freely attennd church in USA. Thank God, for the freedom we enjoy in USA. But I am not happy what is happening in Eritrea. I want the eritrean christains to enjoy the same freedom. i pray for my fellow eritreans to have Freedom of religion, speech, freepress and respect human rights. Many christians and pastors that i know personally are in jail since 2002.

Mr. Stefan thank you and God bless you!!

The Government of eritrea and its supporters are very harsh your report. They deny any facts in the ground. PRAY for ERITREA!! and same time EXPOSE all evil of the governemnt against our brethern.

  11. Could all this(the so called Religious Movements) be the NEW POLITICS of the 21st Century.
May be, could it be when wrong politics is so advanced & gets so sophisticated, wickedly it uses religion as a cover-up to destabilize nations ?

If this “Christian groups” are not the new politics of our 21st century, then, WHERE WERE THIS GROUPS when the Eritrean Christians, Muslims & others were massacred and burned alive inside churches and mosques by the evil ethiopian soldiers and their administrations ?

When Eritreans(Christians, Muslims & others) were killed by ethiopian CLUSTER & NAPALM BOMB, where were this christian groups ? Do this groups know what ethiopia did in Eritrea a place called Shee’Eb ? (it is so INHUMAN, I can NOT even put it in writing.)

IT IS SO SAD TO SEE CHRISTIANITY BEEN USED AS A POLITICAL VEHICLE TO TRANSPORT EVIL IDEAS.

  12. Dear Merhawi,

I don’t know how Christianity is used as a political vehicle or to spread “evil ideas.” All we know for sure is that some 3,000 Christians have been detained in Eritrea because of their faith in Christ who they believe provides real peace and eternal life to everyone who accepts Him as his or her personal savior. I personally don’t see anything evil in that. Apparently the Eritrean government and its supports have a different opinion. John, thank you for your encouraging e-mail. We will continue to report on Eritrea, whether the government and its supporters like it, or not.

    Best regards,

    Stefan J. Bos, BosNewsLife

  13. Dear Stefan Bos,

With all due respect, since you made the effort to right/reply, HAW COME YOU FORGOT TO ANSWER MY QUESTIONS ? or could it be because, whatever happen to the Eritreans(be it NAPALM/CLUSTER BOMB, ETC) is not your concern ? However, not to bother you at all, but let me put my simple QUESTIONS once again(without the last line sentence) & if you can reply without pick & choose of lines PLEASE. And, if you have no enough knowledge of Eritrea, do not just guess please.

And here are the questions . . .

  14. Dear Merhawi,

We are ofcourse concerned about the war situation and reports of cluster bombs being used against anyone, including Eritreans. But once again this was a news story about Christians detained in Eritrea. Nothing more, nothing less. You seem to suggest that we can not write about this, because other bad things happen as well. If that would be the case, no news would ever be written. You talk about ‘Christian groups’ as if they are foreigners. We talk about some 3,000 ERITREAN CHRISTIANS being detained. There may well be some foreign missionaries who also experience persecution, but this story was specifically focused on ERITREAN CHRISTIANS and, if you will ‘groups’. I think most of them would argue they have nothing to do with the “politics of the 21st century” but with the Kingdom of Christ, which will come, but is not of this current earth, or any nation. However in the meantime, I am sure they were also among the Eritreans suffering in the war you mentioned.

    Best regards,

    Stefan J. Bos

  15. Dear Stefan. Bos,

I am Christian & all my families are Christian who are still happily living in Eritrea
as ERITREAN CHRISTIANS, and they are NOT in prison, simply bcoz they respect the low of their country. And they do not believe religion should be prescribed like tablets or medicines.

However, if you have just a spare time try to read the following article please.
    (Copy & Paste) http://www.biddho.com/content/view/11541/29/

  16. Dear Merhawi,

I am sure that the roughly 3,000 Christians detained in Eritrea do not believe “religion should be prescribed like tablets or medicines.” Most of them would not even consider themselves religious. They have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ who they accepted as their Lord and Savior. Because they worship outside the government approved religious churches, they have been persecuted, several advocacy groups and local Christians confirmed. I am happy to hear that you are a Christian and “all” of your families, whoever that may be. I would encourage them to pray for their fellow brothers and sisters who are less fortunate, and plea with the government to release them.

    Best regards,

    Stefan J. Bos, BosNewsLife

  17. Stefan, do you see how many Eritreians are angry at you because your message is nonsense.
What ever you are talking about 3000 people which I highly doubt. If it is true, I support my government to keep them in jail for good, as these people are a threat to our country. These are illegal religions exported to Africa in order to divide the people and steal the resource of this continent. We know now the Western countries are drying up with their economy. I could say a lot to prove you are wrong but it is a waste of time.
Please read what Merhawi posted for you, that will tell your evil mission not religion.
    http://Www.Biddho.com/view/11541/29/.

  18. Dear Dehai,

The people who so far have posted angry messages are either government supporters or officials linked to the Eritrean administration. I am not in the business of having an “evil mission” or even a “religion”. All we have done is reported a genuine news story on some 3,000 Christians currently detained in Eritrea. We also cover China and many other nations in the world. I am sad to learn that you support your government “to keep them in jail for good.”

    Best regards,

    Stefan J. Bos, BosNewsLife

  19. You did good jo Stefan Bos. Those who say they are Eritreans and write like they are the only Eritreans are baseless criminals or acompless. Persecution and Execution of innocent Christians is evident in Eritrea. If there is a way we could count the detainees i am sure it outnumbers the estimated 3000. Many have died without any one knowing their whereabouts.
I was one of them at one time I am just lucky to escape the torture and death chambers of the barbaric regime. The dark days will pass and we are hoping for the day light to come and shine over the hynas in the midle of Asmara.

Keep on disclosing you are headache to the papets of the government and those who think they are the only owners of our beloved country Eritrea.
    Keep it up!

  20. Fithi I had missed you where have you been, LUTE AGAME, I always get nausea when you say I am Eritrean which is the dream of Agames, Idon’t blame you. You are seriosely suffering from inferiority complex. Have you ever read the article written by Sophia Tesfamariam, www. biddho.com/content/view/1154/29/. The detailed conspiracy against Eritrea in the name of religion. Don’t call puppets who oppose Stefan, a buncrupt journalist who does for living by fabricating stories. Eritreans have paid a heavy price to get this country but people like you (Lute Agame) use people like stefan paying some money and would like to threaten the existance of our country. You the so called Agame Ethiopian are suffering with port expenses in Djibouti and working hard to get our beautiful ports. No way. Did you find some on who puts a sausage in your —-, I hope so, then you will have common sense.

    God bless Eritrea

  21. Dear Tekebash,

Because someone disagrees with your praises for the Eritrean government doesn’t mean that he or she has an “inferiority complex.” Oh, and I am not bankrupt at all. Don’t worry. Despite the economic crisis I am very much blessed. Meantime I am looking forward to bank account statements or any other clear evidence about payments I allegedly receive for “fabricating stories”. I suspect you have none. Because I am not paid for “fabricating stories”. The stories we publish are unfortunately the truth. Instead of shouting at people and calling them names, I would appreciate to hear some arguments from you. So far you have provided none. I am not sure what a sausage has to do with the discussion. But I would suggest you eat the sausage yourself.

    Best regards,

    Stefan J. Bos, BosNewsLife

  22. Stefan, you seem agitated, I am telling you the truth you are fabricating stories. I told you to read Sophia Tesfamariam article. But you are not interested because that is the fact of the matter what these religion groups are doing to our country. You know what once again I am telling you, you are fabricationg stories for living, period, and you will not have concern what is happening to our people, except real Eritreans. You may appreciate for people like FITHI, who are Ethiopians which they are dreaming for the destruction of our country. Stefan, by any means I am going to continue to discourage to stop your nonsense. People are suffering here, why don’t you worry about them rather 15,000 KM.

God bless Eritrea and save us from those Evils who wish her bad.

  23. Dear Tekebash,

I am not agitated, but somewhat surprised. You said in your previous communication (besides talking about a sausage) “…Stefan, a buncrupt journalist who does for living by fabricating stories. Eritreans have paid a heavy price to get this country but people like you (Lute Agame) use people like stefan paying some money and would like to threaten the existance of our country.” I am looking forward to bank account statements or any other clear evidence, eyewitnesses or anything, about payments I allegedly receive for “fabricating stories”. Otherwise: who is fabricating stories?

I realize you don’t like to read the fact checked truth about Christians reportedly persecuted for their faith in Eritrea, many of whom are still awaiting their day in court. But we will continue to report on them. Whether you like it or not.

    Best regards,

    Stefan J. Bos

  24. Dear Stefan Bos,

A while a go I sent you an article which is written by Sophia, hence, if you have read it all, I would like to hear from you. And if I may ask you . . .

    1) What do you think of the article over all ?

    2) Do you think it is very possible for some groups or organizations to use a “RELIGION” as a cover-up to destroy countries like Eritrea ?

    3) If you are really and the true Christian, why you don’t just pray to your God/god, instead of coating politics with religion ?

As always, no picking & choosing, and if you can answer them all PLEASE.

  25. Tekebash I never missed you. I thought you are off from reading this website otherwise it is west of time to write to you. You are one of those who are cancer to our society you are nothing but degenerate . You are one of those who were said “sha belo nea wesh belo-humar” in the stragle for freedom. Baseless you are the one who is paranoid and agetated with your Mr. Schizo. Aforki. I am aboriginal in Eritrea you are just doing projection defence mechanism. I mean you say others what you feel, to defend your internal vacum. Despite your blind accusations I encourage Stefan Bos to disclose at least some of the barbaric actions of your master.
    Keep it up Stefan

  26. Dear Merhawi,

I did not had time to read the whole article and when I tried again the link didn’t work. But what I could gather from the first paragraphs is that it seemed a pro-government story and likely one of the sources from where you and other Eritrean government officials or supporters get their quotes from and ideas. You are free to use SOME of the quotes from that article, although our forum is not intended to promote other websites (for that people can use our BosNewsLife partner arrangement) but really to have an exchange of views.

I am not sure if it is possible for groups to use “religion” as “a cover up” to destroy countries like Eritrea. I think if Eritrea is a democratic country, where people of all religious, ethnic, political and/or other backgrounds can share their opinions and views without fear of reprisals or possible imprisonment, there is no such danger, because you can have a honest debate.

I never said that I am “the true” Christian. Yes I am a Christian. But I am not without sins. However thanks to what Jesus Christ has done for me (he died at the cross and even more wonderful rose up from death so everyone who believes in Him can be forgiven and has everlasting life) I have that assurance that He loves me anyway. The thousands of Christians who are in Eritrean prisons have that same assurance. They would NOT consider themselves “religious”. That’s most likely the main reason why they are imprisoned. Religion means following certain rituals or whatever you think is necessary to please God, who Muslims claim is Allah. However these imprisoned Christians know that no rituals, church visits, scarfs or whatever other rituals there are can please God. People tried that in the Old Testament when the people of Israel were given the Law. But nobody good keep that law. So actually everyone deserved death. However now comes the wonderful news:

God gave people now some 2,000 years ago a proposition how they can please Him, as described in John 3:16 (New King James Version) “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” And in John 14:6 Jesus says: “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” So that’s what these Christians now in prison have: The assurance that whatever happens, they will be with God, while already experiencing His presence here on earth. Not because they are better than you and me (even not me…:-)). But because they have accepted Jesus Christ (through Whom God the Father revealed Himself) as their personal Lord and Savior. I 100 percent agree with you that it is important to pray for what Christians would call their ‘brothers and sisters’ as they are all children of God after being “re-born” in Christ. That’s also why we publish their suffering. So more people can know about their plight, and pray. At the same time there is nothing wrong in making the world, including not (yet) Christians, aware of the fact that people are persecuted for their faith or because they refuse to worship in the government approved religious churches as they want to have a personal relationship with Christ and want everyone to have that same opportunity. For some reason the government apparently views that as a threat to its power base. While these Christians are not interested in power. They want to spread the news about true Love, (eternal) Life and Peace that can be only found in Jesus Christ to everyone, regardless of religious or political background. Looking to Eritrea’s and the region’s recent history, it seems difficult to understand why anyone would not wish true inner Peace, Life and Love.

    Best regards,

    Stefan J. Bos

  27. Dear Stefan Bos,

Let me pray to the almighty God.

Dear Lord, as you have said it in you words, “time will come when evils will use my name to mislead others, & be aware of these evils” and now it is happening just that.

Lord Jesus in haven, please save & protect Eritrea from those groups who just pretend to be christians and yet they are really wicked politicians of the 21st century.

Dear Lord, as always protect Eritrea from evil foxes who are covered with sheep skin to cause division and confusion in the county.

Dear Lord, as you have already save Eritrea from the jaws of the barbaric ethiopia,
and now Dear Lord with your mercy protect Eritrea from all kinds of wickedness, who are over working hard to destroy the country pretending to be christians.
And always give the people of Eritrea the wisdom to know exactly who this groups are.

  28. Fithi, here we go again, I told you it is painful to be born Agame. You want to compensate for your state of my mind by calling yourself Eritrean, wishful thinking. Please, don’t mess up with our country, continue to be a puppet for Stefan, a foreign agent who bluffs as if he is religious person. I wish he watch the movie Bill Mahr (Religulous).
Stefan your weakness is when you are told to read an Article written By Sophia, your excuse was that is a pro government story. You know this article is based on facts from real sources. Not like you from here say pepole like FITHI (who has identity crisis). The stroy doesn’t dwell with you because that is exactly you are trying to abuse the name of Eritrean government. Bush is gone who was making a mockery about religion and giving millions of dollars for these so called religious groups to spy and destroy countries in order to exploit their resources. I hope OBAMA stop the fund and you will shut up for good. Our tax dollors spent for these garbage stories.
Eritrean government is not easy for these religious groups and does’t give a dam for your fabricated lies.

  29. Dear Merhawi,

I think the 3,000 Christians jailed in Eritrea could say “amen” to several points in your prayer. They would not speak of “barbaric ethiopia” which would suggest the whole nation is barbaric. They would pray that many people in that country, Eritrea and all other nations in the world would find a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and accept Him as their Lord and Savior. The last part of your prayer seems to refer to authorities and the government. The Christians in jail respect the government and pray for authorities, hoping that one day they too will find Christ. And Tekebash, I am still awaiting the bank account statements or any other evidence that I am paid to “fabricate stories.” If the article of Sophia is based on the same “facts,” than I can only raise my concerns even more. I realize you like to change the subject, now calling me a “foreign agent” for which I guess you have also no evidence. For the record: BosNewsLife News Agency is an independent news agency, based in Budapest, Hungary, and NOT paid by the American government as you seem to suggest. I am looking forward to your prove to the contrary. I am not sure who your sources are. So far you have shown no evidence of the allegations to back up your allegations made against me and BosNewsLife. Which raises the question: who is actually, in your words, “fabricating” stories and spreading “fabricated lies”? Unlike you, who often uses harsh language towards people on this forum, we have substantiated our reports, referring also to well-respected international human rights groups. You may not like what you read, but once again we will continue to report the truth on the situation of many Christians in Eritrea. It’s as Merhawi said so well: “Dear Lord, as always protect Eritrea from evil foxes who are covered with sheep skin to cause division and confusion in the county.” I hope he means it.

    Best regards,

    Stefan J. Bos

  30. Dear Stefan Bos,

Since you are clearly mixing Christianity & Politics,
may i ask, if you are Religious activist or Politician ? or both ?

Hoping you will answer my question,
    SHORT answer is most preferable.

God bless & protect Eritrea forever.

  31. Dear Merhawi,

I am neither a religious activist nor a politician.
I am a journalist. No, I am not “mixing” Christianity with politics in the way you seem to suggest, based on your previous communications. BosNewsLife reports the facts as they are, whether they involve politics or not. I agree with your last sentence: “God bless & protect Eritrea forever.” It includes all people, including those Christians now jailed and waiting to be released.

    Best regards,

    Stefan J. Bos, BosNewsLife

  32. Tekebash idiot. Merhawi innocent stupid. You will understand when you see and feel the merciless stick of your master knocks at your doors. If you are beneficiaries of the barbaric actions time will come you will puke what you have eaten. There is no argument that the current leadership in Eritrea is irresponsible and tortures innocent people. Bush has to do nothing with this. You are just repeating what you are feed by your idiot senior cadres like Yemane Gebreab who is a coward and pet of Mr. Aforki. We lived in Eritrea in peace and harmony with all kind of beliefs but now this Schizo your master waked up of his night mares one day and started his barbaric actions and still continuing.
Go to Asmara visit Sawa and look at the whole situation in the country you will see mothers crying everywhere. They have even arrested mothers who are praying in Medhanie Alem Church Asmera saying “Ezgio Meharena Kiristos” so that the situation can shorten. You know the reason they gave because those mothers were in a large number those sinior cadres of yours said ” this is demonstration, they rounded up and took these mothers by lorry to prison”. This happened just 10 days ago. It had never happened even during the derge which was communist. Mothers used to pray in all churches in Asmara and no one intimidated them even but now your master Schizo is doing crime. He is writing his historic obituary. We will have free Eritrea soon. Take it this is truth.
Stefan Bos don’t give them an ear they are just idiots expose the truth.
    Keep it up.

  33. Dear everyone,

Let’s not shout at each other. We can discuss the situation in Eritrea, without calling each other names. Ofcourse BosNewsLife will continue to report on the plight of people reportedly persecuted for their faith.

    Best regards,

    Stefan J. Bos

  34. Bullshit masters, anything that does not agree with your politically loaded opinion has to be removed, hasn’t it ?

    Simon

  35. Fithi, Paranoid and delusional. I have been telling you several times, I am a proffesional person, I don’t live by hand out like you. I defend about my country because I have a true love for my people and my country, Eritrea. I am real Eritrean, no Identity crisis. You might have grown in Eritrea and finally you might have been kicked out because of your despised race. Through out your life it is going to be painful to be born from this despised tribe. Now you are calling any name in the book for any Eritrean to compensate your inferiority. Even Stefan could not take your nonsense.
Fithi, you are in a day dream. That is what your Master of Agames wish, praying and conspiring for Shabia to go. To your happiness PIA is getting stronger every day.
Fithi, please (SEBAY FETESH HELENAHA KEDEKES), otherwise, you will be going naked and you will end up in seclusion in mental institution.
Tekebash also wrote: Fithi, read what you wrote, it shows that you are trying to hide your identity as if you are from diffrent race in Eritrea, as much as possible to run away from an embarassemnet and to get emotional relief from being Agame.
Fithi, have you checked Awate.com, those people who own the website have the same problem like you (Identity crises). Please go and join them. They are working hard to identify themselves as an Eritrean. Contact them they may help you.

  36. Dear Tekebash,

I am very sad you said to Fithi “You might have grown in Eritrea and finally you might have been kicked out because of your despised race.” Also you said: “Through out your life it is going to be painful to be born from this despised tribe. Now you are calling any name in the book for any Eritrean to compensate your inferiority…” I hope you can reconsider. For Christ there is no “despised tribe” or “inferiority”. As a matter of fact He often went to the most “despised” people of His time. And throughout the Bible you can read of most “despised” people, who God used to do great things. King David for instance was ‘just’ a sheppard before God called him to become one of the greatest kings in Israel’s history. God used and saved a prostitute and her family to protect Israeli spies who went ahead of the army to investigate the land they were promised. And Christ used fishermen, who could not even read or write, to become one of the most important preachers and church founders of their time. So I would say whatever Fithi’s backround may be, he is valuable for the King of Kings. Christ is NOT impressed by those considered to be “respected” by this world. He himself was born not in a palace, but in a stable. Not in Jerusalem, but in ‘second-class’ Bethlehem. Yet, Jesus became the Savior for all people of this world who belief in Him. That’s also, in essence, the faith of the 3,000 Christians who are known to have been jailed in Eritrea. I have said to everyone on this forum let’s not shout at each other. We can discuss the situation in Eritrea, without calling each other names. And, as I have promised, BosNewsLife will continue to report on the plight of people reportedly persecuted for their faith. In Eritrea and around the world.

    Best regards,

    Stefan J. Bos

  37. Tekebash Schizo shame on you. You are the one who is already running naked. I have explained to you before that you are much closer to that race than I am. Your native language is same as theirs your mom braids her hair backwards as theirs you have the same religion as theirs that is orthodox whereas I don’t have any commonality with this race you defame in those three. If you have same language culture and religion how come you abuse them to that level. If you think they are to this level law in your attitute don’t forget that you are as close as their level is because you are same or close relatives. In other words you are destroying your oun identity and exploring your oun rectum. This or that way you are born from them as Isayas and Meles (dictators of our time) are relatives One of your parents if not, one of your granies is one of them surely. After all there is no point to defame someone by his race specially in this modern world. This shaws everyone how much you are stupit and emotional who regargetates what he is feed from his senior cadres. Your master is just good for nothing who lost human values, swallew it. your master he is writing his historic obituary.

Stefan Bos Keep on exposing the audacious human abuses of the dectator.

  38. Tekebash here we go now you exposed your self and we saw your nudity. You are such a nude and nasty. Poor nurse you are not even Health care Aid you just recieve incentives from your master Mr Aforki criminal and dectator of our time. You are feed from his leftovers.

Stefan Bos Tseba astikana keep it on expose the vandalism of the barbaric regime.

  39. Fithi, I know you are frustrated that Eritrean have so much love to our second to God, PIA. you agames are tried hard to creat division between our beloved PIA and the people but failed miserably. I did not like to use the word Idiot, but now you exactly fit being Idiot. How on earth do you think I get paid from the Eritrean gov’t while I live in the USA. I know people like you it is an open secret to be beggers that is the story of your country, Ethiopia. And the best begger in the world your unckle Meles.
Fithi, (Stefan Tseba astikane, BEMAKORKA ASTIUKA Tseba) I knew for long time that was your major problem.
Congragulation you got what you want from Stefan.

  40. Tekebas here we go again you are equating dictator with God.The Landlord of the Private Estate of Eritrea, the Executive, the Legislative, the Judiciary, the Commander-In-Chief, and the ultimate Law of the Land, tyrant Isias Afewarki (top Gang), is the sole person running and controlling the country in Eritrea. And you look like his pet.

Idiot is your prefix or nick name. No sense of reality you are lead by emotions and incentives.

  41. Tekebash your name is in Ethiopian language.Tekebash Schizo shame on you. You are the one who is already running naked. I have explained to you before that you are much closer to that race than I am. Your native language is same as theirs your mom braids her hair backwards as theirs you have the same religion as theirs that is orthodox whereas I don’t have any commonality with this race you defame, in those three.

  42. “Its better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.” All Eritrean are layer because they doesn’t know the value of love, they just want to play around and having sex that is their life, I had experience

  43. Here we see the two mentalities; people who echo what the government says and wants us Eritreans to hear (WITH NO OPINION OF THEIR OWN) and people who stand for the right of citizens to believe/worship in what they believe. Although it is universal to find contradictions in a society, defending a dictator makes people feel pity for those brainwashed or opportunists. There are people who think it is only them and their way that is correct; that is the source of their grave mistakes and apolitical thinking. I wish I knew who is who; these people are those who, after the dictator is gone, will at the forefront and condemn it and act as persons for democracy and for the right of BELIEF!!! At last; democracy, equality, rights etc… are concept that primarily concern the individual, so think if you, as individual, lack those rights where you recide.
