NEWS WATCH: France, Eastern Europe Divided Over Climate Plan

GDANSK/BUDAPEST (BosNewsLife)-- French President Nicolas Sarkozy has failed to end disagreements with leaders of nine eastern European nations on a plan to tackle global warming. Sarkozy tried to sell an ambitious EU climate package over the weekend to the prime ministers of Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Romania and the Czech Republic.
